Quantity Surveying provides the following services
- If the Contractor fails to submit the Final Account and Final Statement within the prescribed time frame, preparing the Employer’s Final Account, and Employer’s Final Statement in conjunction with the Quantity surveyor, and issuing to the contractor.
- Receiving applications for interim payment from the Contractor and, in conjunction with the Quantity Surveyor, making recommendation for payment by the Employer.
- Receiving the Contactor’s Final Account and Final Statement and, in conjunction with the Quantity Surveyor, reviewing and making recommendations for acceptance to the Employer.
- Reviewing the draft letter of award prepared by the Quantity Surveyor for Issuance by the Employer
- Procuring the preparation and completion of contract documents for execution between the Employer and the contractor
- To Prepare monthly valuations of work executed, variations, etc. for the recommendation of progress payments by the Client to the Main Contractor.
- Highlighting any issues likely to affect the project budget or program. To assess any work change orders and variations.
- To prepare final accounts including negations and settlement of claims.
- Cost planning updates with the Project Manager of the project in order to solve/prevent issues from occurring. Requires onsite inspection of each area specified by the Project Manager.
- Working alongside each consultant that is assigned by the developer of the project
